Sadie and I went down to Pleasant Grove to my old friend Karen's house! We had a lot of fun seeing her and Laura and her two kids! It has been a very long time since we all got together and it was great catching up! We all met when I was 3 years old and living in Orem. It definitely reminded me of my childhood. We were all very close along with Chelsea and my twin sister Heather. Of course we always had the fights and battles over who was best friends with who but I will always remember the neighborhood games, the pretend island we had underneath our stairs, our "club" 2nd Blood, buying penny candy at Coronet, going to Classic Water Park, University Mall, Scera Park Pool, sleepovers, and SO many other good times. I remember the day we moved to Arizona back in 1986 (over 20 years ago!) and just crying and crying! We have kept in touch on and off over the years but its been quite a few years since we got together!
Karen came over a few weeks ago but I hadn't seen Laura in I don't know how long! I hadn't met her children and she hadn't met my cute Sadie girl! Sadie automatically adored Lindsey (who is in this picture with Sadie.) She wouldn't leave the poor girl alone for a minute! It was nice and relaxing to go swimming since it's been so hot lately and catch up with each other's lives. I hope we are able to get together a lot more now that we are all living pretty close to each other! Next time hopefully Heather and Chels can be there!

what a fun time!! Laura's daughter looks just like I remember Laura. You're history goes back a long ways and is full of so many great times.
As I'm sitting here sweating in the heat, that swimming pool looks awfully nice. I wish I could jump in right now! How fun to see Karen and Laura! I remember a lot of those things too. Good times!

That was so much fun Juli-we do need to do that more often. I have absolutely loved getting back in touch with you. I've missed you so much.
